Take Centre Stage! Centre Stage Dance Academy

At Centre Stage, we offer dance classes for ages 2 through adult with all ability levels. Dancers may participate in recreational or competitive dance programs. Our classes include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, pointe, hip hop, musical theater, and cheer.

Summer registration will begin May 4. We will be offering dance and cheer classes for children of all ages and ability levels. We will also be offering "dance camps". Please call or email us for more information.

I CAN! Dance classes for children with mental or physical challenges will begin Wednesday April 7 from 5:00-5:45

AVAILABLE CLASSES

Tiny Stars (ages 2-3)
This is an introduction to the dance classroom where students will find a nurturing safe environment to explore dance movement. Imagery and creative movement are utilized. Artistic expression is emphasized by using a variety of music and props. Class is 30 minutes.

Twinkling Stars (ages 3-5)
In this class, dancers will learn how to follow direction as well as dance classroom etiquette in a fun, playful environment. Dancers will explore rhythm, movement, and the primary steps that comprise the ballet, tap, and jazz vocabulary. Class is 60 minutes.

Shooting Stars (ages 5-7)
Our Shooting Stars are placed in classes based on previous dance experience. The beginning groups will learn the primary steps that comprise the ballet, tap, and jazz vocabulary. Our intermediate level groups will build on the curriculum of the previous dance classes. Students will learn age-appropriated dance movements to build self-confidence and personal expression. Class is 60 minutes long.

Shimmering Stars (ages 7-9) - Sparking Stars (ages 10-12) - Shining Stars (Teen)
Students will be placed in classes based on abilities. Classes vary in length depending on the students' interest. Please contact us for more information about available classes and times.
